MOUTH GUARD CLEANING TIPS

I am not going to plug any Brand of Mouth Guard here. For me I prefer one that is colourful. I have the Neon Pink one. For me the brighter the mouth guard the better. In a cleaning it sense of way. The mouth guard should also be another item in your Gear Bag that should be cleaned. Actually it should be cleaned after every use.

The mouth guard is a great place for bacteria to grow. Especially if you don't clean it.

TIPS FOR CLEANING YOUR MOUTH GUARD

1. Use a toothbrush and toothpaste on your Mouth Guard after every use. I suggest you add and carry a mini travel toothbrush and toothpaste (those can be found at either the Drug Store or Dollar Store) in your Gear Bag.

2. Remember to Rinse your Mouth Guard thoroughly to rid it of toothpaste.

3. Rinse your Mouth Guard in Mouthwash before putting it away

4. Pat dry and place it in a well ventilated container.

Before every use remember to rinse your mouth guard in cool water before wearing it.

* soap and cool water is fine but not all the time*

* Denture Cleaning Tablets also work (Soak them for a few minutes not over night)
